hello, my name is Karen and i'm writing on behalf of myself and my S/O, Monte.
The two of us are wanting to re-explore spirituality. Our chosen path is Paganism. I was doing some searches online for pagan groups/services/etc in san jose that weren't--and please excuse my bluntness--full of fluff and "wierdos". My search essentially came up with nothing....
so anyway, i was talking ot my sister about this, and she suggested the Church of Religious Science/ Center for Spiritual Living. She and her girlfriend are members in Santa Rosa.
My main question is this: how does this church accomodate pagans? i understand that the main idea is "come one, come all" but through my reading on the oficial site, as i've interpreted it, there is really only one diety (God) worshipped. How does this church feel about members who either worship the Goddess, or multiple other dieties?
I and my S/O were thinking about going to a service tomorrow, but were curious as to whether it would be a fruitful trip or not....
this is a letter out of pure curiosity; no judgment or malice.... *smiles*
any info is appreciated. :)
Blessed Be!!!

Re: new (possible) member...
Tue, April 25, 2006 - 8:43 PMwithin the one god there are many. the teaching is more about positive thought and expressing love. god rarely is discussedn on a personal level. tha community accepts EVERYONE. if you are of the belief that love is what we are here to share , express and expierience than it would definately be worth your while.
i miss it sooo much!!! they dont have a church of religious science on maui. try the center in sabta rosa rev edward is the best!!!
